Our high-performance LX rear disc conversion with red powder-coated calipers, for GM 10 and 12 bolt rear ends with non-staggered rear shocks. It fits 1964-72 Chevelle, El Camino, GTO, LeMans and Skylark, plus the 1967 Camaro and Firebird. You get 11" cross drilled & slotted rotors, stainless steel braided brake hoses, and large loaded GM calipers with a built-in e-brake, finished in red so they stand out behind your wheels.

Drilled and slotted rotors and red calipers give the back of your car the look of a serious brake package. Rear drums fade, pull and need constant adjusting. The DBK1012LX-R replaces them with 11" rotors and large GM calipers for a big step up in stopping power. It bolts on to your existing 10 or 12 bolt, with brackets, spacers and hardware made to fit.

Keep Your Parking Brake

Plenty of rear disc swaps leave you without a parking brake. These loaded GM calipers have a built-in e-brake, and the cables are included, so your parking brake works like it should.

Fitment

Before You Order

• Non-staggered shocks only: Look under the rear of your car. If both rear shocks mount on the same side of the axle, the kit fits. If one shock is in front of the axle and the other is behind it (staggered), this kit will not fit. Order our DBK1012SLX instead.
• Rear end: It works on GM 10 bolt and 12 bolt rear ends, C-clip or non C-clip.
• Bolt pattern: The rotors are drilled for GM 5 x 4.75" with 7/16" studs.
• Axle flange fit: Your axle flange must fit inside the rotor hat: 6.11" max diameter, 2.78" max register and a .050 x 45° chamfer.
