The high-performance LX version of our GM 10 & 12 bolt rear disc conversion, for passenger cars with non-staggered rear shocks. It fits 1964-72 Chevelle, El Camino, GTO, LeMans and Skylark, plus the 1967 Camaro and Firebird. The LX kit upgrades to 11" cross drilled & slotted rotors and stainless steel braided brake hoses, and it includes large loaded GM calipers with a built-in e-brake, e-brake cables, brackets and spacers.

The LX Difference

The LX takes our proven DBK1012 rear disc kit and upgrades the two parts you'll notice most. The cross drilled and slotted rotors help shed heat and gas on hard stops, and they look great behind open-spoke wheels. The stainless steel braided hoses resist swelling under pressure, so your pedal feels firmer and more consistent than it does with rubber hoses. Every part is brand new. Nothing is rebuilt or remanufactured.

Ditch the Rear Drums for 11" Discs

Rear drums fade, pull and need constant adjusting. The DBK1012LX replaces them with 11" rotors and large GM calipers for a big step up in stopping power. It bolts on to your existing 10 or 12 bolt, with brackets, spacers and hardware made to fit.

Keep Your Parking Brake

Plenty of rear disc swaps leave you without a parking brake. These loaded GM calipers have a built-in e-brake, and the cables are included, so your parking brake works like it should.

Before You Order

• Non-staggered shocks only: Look under the rear of your car. If both rear shocks mount on the same side of the axle, the kit fits. If one shock is in front of the axle and the other is behind it (staggered), this kit will not fit.
• Rear end: It works on GM 10 bolt and 12 bolt rear ends, C-clip or non C-clip.
• Bolt pattern: The rotors are drilled for GM 5 x 4.75" with 7/16" studs.
