This complete Pirate Jack kit converts your first-gen Camaro or Firebird from front drums to 11" drilled and slotted disc brakes with red Wilwood D52 dual-piston aluminum calipers, adds 9" dual power brake assist, and replaces your tired factory control arms with powder-coated tubular upper and lower arms with built-in positive caster for sharper handling.

The stock height spindles keep your car sitting right where it should, and the kit is designed to bolt on, so there’s no guesswork. Instructions are included, an installation DVD is available on request, and free tech support comes with every kit.

Wilwood D52 Caliper Specs

The D52 is a direct bolt-on, two-piston replacement for the factory single-piston caliper. Its forged aluminum body and stainless pistons put an end to the rust, bore pitting, and seal failures of the OE design, with a big weight savings.

Before You Order: Please Read

Wheel Requirements
Requires 15" or larger wheels. Smaller wheels will have caliper clearance issues. Running 14" wheels? We offer a special bracket set to adapt them. Call us for details.

Control Arm Bolts
Control arm mounting bolts are not included. Reuse your original bolts.

Brake Lines
As with any conversion kit, you’ll remove the original valve from the frame and mount the new proportioning valve on the firewall. You’ll need to either run jumper lines from the old valve location or run all new lines. The valve uses 3/8"-24 fittings for the front connections and one 9/16"-18 fitting to the rear brakes. Want it done right the first time? Add our full brake line kit (see Optional Upgrades).

• Wheel offset: Disc brake conversions typically add about 1/4" to 3/8" of track width per side compared to drums.
• Instructions: Instructions are included. Keep them handy, because replacement part numbers are listed on page 2.
