Black Out Series 8" Dual Power Brake Booster Kit with Wilwood 1" Bore Aluminum Master Cylinder – GM A, F & X-Body Disc/Drum

At the next weekend cruise-in, let your engine bay do the talking. The Black Out Series pairs a black powder coated 8" dual diaphragm power brake booster with a genuine Wilwood black E-coat aluminum tandem master cylinder. Matching black powder coated brackets tie it all together. The result is a clean, all-black setup that looks custom and has a name that backs it up.

Wilwood 260-8555-BK master cylinder
At the heart of the kit is a Wilwood 1" bore high-volume tandem master cylinder in black E-coat aluminum. Wilwood designs the 1" bore mainly for power brake systems, which makes it a perfect match for this booster. It’s machined from high-pressure die-cast aluminum and weighs only about 3 lbs. Wilwood says that’s up to 75% lighter than a typical cast iron OE master cylinder.

• 1" bore, 1.10" stroke
• 2:1 primary-to-secondary volume ratio
• Outlet ports on both sides for left- or right-hand plumbing
• Mount flange fits 3.22"–3.40" bolt spacing, common on most domestic cars and trucks from the mid-1960s on

8" dual diaphragm power booster
The GM-style 8" dual diaphragm booster delivers strong power assist in a compact size that fits where bigger boosters won’t. It’s finished in black powder coat to match the rest of the kit.

Fixed GM-style proportioning valve, pre-plumbed
The kit includes an aluminum disc/drum combination valve with pre-bent stainless steel lines to the master cylinder, the correct fittings and its own matching black powder coated bracket. The fixed GM-style valve comes preset for disc/drum brakes, so there’s nothing to adjust and nothing to get wrong. Just bolt it in and go. Prefer to fine-tune your brake bias? We offer this kit with an adjustable knob-style valve as well.

Ready to bolt in
The black powder coated angled booster brackets, pedal rod extension and clevis are all included. You won’t need to hunt down extra parts to finish the install.
