Upgrade your Galaxie to power brakes with one complete, matched kit. This conversion pairs a gold zinc 8" dual diaphragm booster with a cast iron Corvette-style master cylinder, a disc/drum proportioning valve, pre-bent brake lines, and the Galaxie booster mounting bracket. Everything is chosen to work together, so you’re not hunting for parts that may or may not match.

The compact 8" dual diaphragm booster delivers strong, confident braking assist while leaving room under the hood for big-block engines, tall valve covers, and aftermarket parts. The cast iron Corvette-style master cylinder has a classic, period-correct look, and its 1" bore is sized for front disc and rear drum brakes. The bottom-mount disc/drum proportioning valve mounts directly beneath the master cylinder and balances front and rear brake pressure, so the rear drums don’t lock up before the front discs. The pre-bent lines connect the master cylinder to the valve, so they fit without cutting, bending, or flaring.

This kit is for vehicles with front disc and rear drum brakes. The fixed proportioning valve is set up for disc/drum systems and is not intended for four-wheel disc setups. Brake lines from the proportioning valve to the wheels are not included.
