Power front disc brakes for your Task Force truck, mounted right where it belongs.

Classic 1955–59 GM trucks have their master cylinder mounted under the floor on the frame, not on the firewall. So a standard firewall booster won’t fit. This kit is built for that layout. The power brake booster mounts to the frame in the factory location and comes complete with a disc/drum master cylinder, a proportioning valve and all the mounting hardware. Everything you need for power front disc brakes is in one box.

Frame-mounted for a factory-style install
The booster mounts to the frame under the cab, just like the original master cylinder. That keeps the engine bay and firewall clean and uncluttered, with no cutting or firewall modifications.

Set up for front disc, rear drum brakes
The master cylinder and proportioning valve are matched for disc/drum systems. The valve balances pressure between the front discs and rear drums so the truck stops straight and controlled, without early rear lockup. It’s the perfect complement to a front disc brake conversion.

Zinc finish
The zinc plating protects against corrosion, which matters for parts mounted under the truck where they face water, salt and road grime.

Everything included
The kit includes the power brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve and all the mounting hardware needed to complete the install. There’s no hunting for brackets or bolts.
