Will it fit my car, truck or van? YES! The star washer in this kit will ONLY fit 2002 and below. The rest of the parts will work! Be careful taking our your star retaining clip as you will need to reuse it if your vehicle is manufactured after 2002.

This is a truly UNIVERSAL kit that can be used on your Dodge, Ford, Chevy, 1000's of makes and model vehicles. We have sold thousands of these kits and found them to work on virtually anything you'd drive your family in. The answer is YES to any car, truck or van that is smaller than a dump truck or stepside delivery van. A dump truck or box truck/van is the only applications that I know these kits not to work on, and unfortunately I don't have any other information on these applications.

So, before you call and ask it if fits your car or truck I can stop you right there and say YES it fits. Does it fit my Ford Truck.... YES.....Does it fit my Dodge.....YES....Does it....ok wait i told you that it fits ALL hydro-boost Bendix units. If you buy the kit and it for 1 in 1million chance it does not work, I will send a call tag to get the kit back from you and refund you your entire purchase price, if it is shipped back in its entirety.

I own a 1996 hd3500 that is equipped with a hydroboost. Over the years it had developed a severe leak. The seal kit I ordered arrived surprisingly quick. Upon inspection the kit was found to have an array of seals and a few small parts, it also inxluded an instruction booklet which was very useful.
The instructions are very straightforward and useful. I was able to reseal my unit within a few hours.
Overall I recommend this product to anyone that can use handtools, and follow the instructions. This seal kit has saved me money by allowing me to service my hydroboost, and not replace it which was costly.

Fit perfectly, no more leaks. RELIEVE RESERVE PRESSURE FIRST BY PRESSING BRAKE UNTIL ALL POWER ASSIST IS GONE OR PERSONAL INJURY COULD RESULT!!! Search for videos/forums before performing. One helpful on said to hold unit by brake pedal end and install the master cyl end down onto that. This way, you can manipulate the seal around the piston with a rounded plastic tool so as not to invert the seal. This worked perfectly. I put the piston return spring and retainer in with a socket which also worked perfectly, snapped right into place.

The kit parts are of good quality. However, the instructions require updating, especially for the installation and orientation of the plunger seat and plunger. During disassembly the plunger assembly fell out and I had to go online to verify how it was supposed to go back in. More detailed pictures would also be helpful with numbered parts used in the instructions to aid in assembly.

Rebuilt leaking hydro-boost, great instructions, cut my shaft and threaded both ends then used a coupling nut to put it back together. Works great. Just a small investment for a big return.

378+ miles later my hydroboost started pouring fluid out around the piston. It was either try to reseal or replace the entire unit. So far it's fixed. Saving over $350 is a good deal in my book.

Had everything needed to rebuild a junkyard 1991 F-Superduty booster. And a bunch of extras. To rebuild a booster of this era, you have to cut the pedal rod off. It does not come with a part to fix this. You must thread the pedal rod and use a thread coupler or a heim style joint. This hydro boost unit is going into a 1985 fullsize Bronco.

Shipping was fast as well.
