This complete Pirate Jack kit trades tired factory front drums for front disc brakes with power assist, all in one box, and we've upgraded it with Wilwood calipers, a Wilwood master cylinder, and a Wilwood proportioning valve. Stock height spindles, big 12" rotors with pre-installed bearing races, a power booster, and everything in between are included and designed to work together, so there are no parts to hunt down and no guesswork.

The stock height spindles keep your truck sitting exactly where it should, and the red Wilwood calipers and black booster setup look as good as they stop. Whether it's a daily driver, a weekend cruiser, or a full show build, this is the brake upgrade your truck has been waiting for.

The booster and master cylinder mount differently on early and late trucks, so we ship the bracket setup that fits yours:

Before You Order: Please Read

Wheel Requirements
Will not work with stock 15" steel wheels from before 1971. Works with most 15" rally wheels or wheels from 1971 and newer model years.

Bracket Selection
The 1963–1966 bracket setup ships standard. 1967–1970 C10 owners, please leave a note at checkout so we ship the correct bracket.

Drivetrain & Lug Pattern
This kit is for 2WD, 6 lug trucks with a 6 x 5.5" bolt pattern.

⚠️ Installation Notes

• Coil spring safety: Support the lower control arm with a floor jack and lower it slowly to relieve coil spring tension before removing the spindle.
• Spindle orientation: Install each spindle with the steering arm pointing toward the front. Check full steering travel before final torque.
• Bearing races: The races come pre-installed in the rotors. There's no need to press in new races.
• Seals & dust caps: Tap them in gently with a rubber mallet or wood block to avoid damage.
• Before mounting pads: Clean the rotors with brake cleaner and apply disc brake quiet to the back of each pad.
• Master cylinder: Bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it. Use fresh DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid.
• Bleeding order: Right rear, left rear, right front, left front.
• Brake bias: Set your front-to-rear balance with the adjustable proportioning valve.
• Test drive: Test the brakes at low speed in a safe area, re-bleed if needed, then gradually increase speed. Afterward, recheck all bolts and look for leaks.
