Most disc brake conversions only cover the front and leave you to figure out the rest. This Pirate Jack kit converts both axles, lowers the front of your car 2" with drop spindles, and adds a complete power brake setup, all designed to work together on your 1964–72 GM A-Body. It fits Chevelle and El Camino, GTO and LeMans, Cutlass and 442, and Skylark and GS. Red calipers at all four corners give it a finished performance look. Every part is brand new, with nothing rebuilt or remanufactured.

The kit uses 11" cross-drilled and slotted rotors front and rear, with a 5 x 4.75" bolt pattern. Up front, red Wilwood® D52 dual-piston calipers bolt on in place of the factory single-piston calipers. They have forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals, so you’re done with the rust, pitted bores and leaking seals of the original design, and you save a lot of weight. In the rear, large-bore GM-design single-piston calipers are powder coated red to match. They include a working parking brake, and the kit comes with a set of emergency brake cables.

2" drop spindles, with no spring cutting
Coated 2" drop spindles lower the front of your car without cutting springs or changing your suspension geometry. You get a lower, more aggressive stance and a lower center of gravity at the same time you upgrade your brakes.

Stainless braided hoses, front and rear
Stainless steel braided brake hoses come with banjo bolts and copper crush washers, front and rear. Many other kits leave these out.

Before You Order

• Rear shocks: The rear conversion is designed for non-staggered shocks. If your car has staggered shocks, say so in the order notes at checkout and we’ll include the correct brackets.
• Rear axle: This kit does not fit Moser rear ends. The axle flange can be no more than 6.11" in diameter to fit the rotor hat, with a .050" x 45° chamfer and a 2.786" maximum axle register.
• Wheels: You’ll need 15" or larger wheels.
• Track width: Disc brake conversions typically add about 1/4" to 3/8" of offset per side.
• Proportioning valve: Install the valve in the rear brake line. The 3/8" fittings come with the valve.
• Alignment: Have a front-end alignment done after you install the spindles.
