Most disc brake conversions only cover the front and leave you to figure out the rest. This Pirate Jack kit converts both axles and adds a complete power brake setup, all designed to work together on your 1964–72 GM A-Body. It fits Chevelle and El Camino, GTO and LeMans, Cutlass and 442, and Skylark and GS. Black powder-coated calipers give it a clean, understated look. You don’t have to piece parts together from different suppliers or guess what fits. Everything you need comes in one complete kit.

Four-wheel disc stopping power
The kit uses 11" drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. Up front, black Wilwood® D52 dual-piston calipers bolt on in place of the factory single-piston calipers. They have forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals, so you’re done with the rust, pitted bores and leaking seals of the original design, and you save a lot of weight. In the rear, large GM single-bore calipers are powder coated black to match and include a working parking brake.

• 8" dual diaphragm booster, powder coated black, that clears big blocks, tall headers and LS swaps
• Wilwood® 1-1/8" bore black tandem master cylinder
• Adjustable proportioning valve, so you can dial in your front-to-rear brake balance

Bolt-on fitment with stock height spindles
Stock height spindles keep your factory ride height, and the kit bolts to your existing control arms. All the bearings, seals and hardware are included, so there’s no hunting for small parts halfway through the install.

Before You Order

• Rear axle: The rear brakes are designed for factory GM 10-bolt and 12-bolt rear ends. Check your axle before ordering.
• Wheels: You’ll need 15" or larger wheels. Have 14" wheels? We offer a special bracket set that adapts them, so just ask.
• Track width: Disc brake conversions typically add about 1/4" to 3/8" of offset per side.
• Brake lines: With this kit, or any kit like it, you’ll remove the factory valve from the frame and mount the new valve on the firewall. You can either run a jumper line from where the old valve was or run all new lines. The supplied valve uses 3/8-24 fittings for the front connections and a 9/16-18 fitting to the rear. Want a complete line kit instead? We carry one. It needs a different valve, which we can swap in for a $50 upgrade.
