  1. Disc brake conversion kit 4 Star Review

Posted by on Sep 5th 2018

Kit is well made went on without much difficulty. Two things noticed: 1. The top of the new spindle is 0.162 thicker than the old original spindle. Had to replace the original washers with thinner ones under upper ball joint nut. 2: Instructions are not written well, you need to be a mechanic to install this kit. Example: it tells you to put floor jack under lower control arm, this is true, however the reason the instruction state so the coil spring does not fly out. This is not a GM. Mopars have torsion bars, the simple way is to remove tension on the torsion bar and leave the lower joint on the car.
