PV8796J - 1987-96 Jeep Proportioning Valve

1987–1996 Jeep Proportioning Valve, Disc/Drum with Brake Warning Switch (P/N PV8796J)

Uneven braking, a pull to one side, or rear brakes that lock up too early often trace back to a tired proportioning valve. The PV8796J is a replacement proportioning valve built for 1987–1996 Jeep Wrangler YJ, Cherokee XJ, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Grand Cherokee models with disc/drum brakes. It restores the correct front-to-rear brake balance so your Jeep stops straight and predictably, on the pavement or on the trail.

The valve is machined from brass and includes a built-in brake light warning switch, so your dash warning light keeps working the way it should. The ports match the original configuration, so your existing brake lines thread right in.
