For GM 10-Bolt & 12-Bolt Rear Ends with Staggered Shocks

Upgrade your 2nd Gen Camaro or Firebird from outdated rear drums to modern disc brake performance with this complete, bolt-on rear disc brake kit. Designed specifically for 1975-81 F-Body vehicles equipped with staggered shocks, this system delivers stronger, more consistent stopping power using 11" vented, drilled, and slotted rotors.

The result? Improved braking response, better heat dissipation, and a cleaner, more aggressive rear-end appearance.

⚠️ Important Fitment Information – Staggered Shock Applications Only

This kit is engineered exclusively for rear ends with staggered shocks — meaning one shock mounts in front of the axle and the other behind it.

Because of this configuration:

• You will receive two identical caliper brackets

• You will receive two identical calipers

• There is no traditional “left” and “right” caliper setup

If your vehicle does not have staggered shocks, this kit will not fit properly.

Rotor Specifications

• GM 5 x 4.75" bolt pattern

• Designed for 7/16" wheel studs

• Compatible with both C-clip and non C-clip rear ends

Wheel Clearance & Fitment Notes

• Requires 15" diameter wheels or larger

• Installation may move the wheel outward up to 3/4", depending on wheel design and offset
  (Actual change varies by wheel manufacturer and backspacing)

Always verify clearance before final installation.

Additional Components Required

For proper operation, you will need:

• A larger bore master cylinder

• A disc/disc proportioning valve

For optimal pedal feel and performance, we strongly recommend upgrading to an 11" Delco Moraine Power Brake Booster designed specifically for disc/disc systems. This upgrade complements the rear conversion perfectly and ensures balanced, confident braking.
