Pirate Jack's Classic Series disc brake kits keep everything as stock as we can get. These kits are designed to keep your car looking as original as possible with the added safety feature of having disc brakes. Our manual master cylinder kit includes a ford mustang boss master cylinder and even includes the dimple on the front port as the original. If you want your master cylinder to have that special look we also offer a Ford "misprint" lid that you can add to your build. If you want to add power brakes we have that option too. Our booster conversion kits will give you the stopping power you need and the look your after too! We have matching rear brake if you want the full 4 wheel package. All our front kits will allow you to run your original 14" rims but the rear must change over to the 15" Line work will be needed to install the new valve as the original Mustang never intended to have disc brakes and the valve we include will need to be plumbed.

1964.5 - 1969 Mustang Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit

This kit must be installed on V-8 Spindles.  

Kit includes:

  • 11" Plain Vented Rotors
  • 4 Piston Kelsey Hayes Style Calipers
  • Rubber Brake Hoses
  • Caliper Brackets
  • All Mounting Hardware
  • Bearings & Seals
  • Must use V8 Spindles

Mustang Application Notes:

  • Works with 1964-1969 V8 drum brake Mustang spindles.
  • Also fits 1967-1969 V6 Mustang spindles but converts the vehicle to 5 lug.
  • Will not retain the original bolt pattern if used with v-6 spindle.

This kit also fits the following year, make, & models:

  • 63-69 Falcon
  • 64-69 Fairlane, Ranchero, Comet, Cyclone
  • 67-73 Cougar
  • 68-71 Torino, Montego

The Pirate Jack Classic Mustang Rear Disc Brake Kit provides an easy to install, 
bolt on solution for upgrading your Mustang Ford passenger car 9” rear-end.

  • Pirate Jack's kit is unique in that it provides all the brackets and flanges 
    that fit the three most popular sizes of the 9” rear end 
    (3-3/8” x 2”, 3-1/2” x 2-3/8”, 3-9/19” x 2” )

Includes:

  • 11" Standard Vented Rotors
  • Standard Large Bore GM  Calipers w/ E brake Option
  • E-Brake Cables
  • All brackets & Hardware to install.
  • Standard Rubber Brake Hoses!!!
  • Drilled for both Ford 5x4.5 Using 1/2" Studs or GM 5x4.75

The Ford 9" Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit will fit 1965-1973 Mustangs
with a 9" Small Bearing Rear Axle.

Does not fit 14" rims.

  • Maximum diameter of 6.11" to fit rotor hat.
  • .050x45 Degree Chamfer. 2.786" max register axle.
