  1. FD-330 in a '65 Mustang 2+2 4 Star Review

Posted by on Oct 2nd 2019

The price was great compared to one other supplier that I researched. The initial disappointment was when I realized the FD-330 was manufactured in China. If I would have known this, I wouldn't have made the purchase.
I had the FD-330 installed by a professional mechanic at a very respected automotive repair shop experienced in this type of install. The unit fit into the allotted space just fine. However, new tubing was required and the holes in the mounting bracket required revisions. Some of the extra tubing work was likely the result of my SSBC disc brake and dual master cylinder conversion performed about 18 years ago. This extra work added 3 labor hours to the installation and to my bill (about $300 extra).
The installed system looks great and performs excellent actually exceeding my expectations. Therefore, very happy with the new power brake system in my gorgeous '65 fastback.
